The Food Bank System

In 2010, 49 million Americans weren’t able to get enough food at some point during the year. In that same year Oregon Coast Community Action, through the South Coast Food Share, distributed 1.9 million pounds of food to 31 partner agencies, serving the equivalent of over 200,000 meals.

Who is eligible for emergency food?
Any household whose income is less than 85% of the federal poverty level.

 

  • 1 person = $20,150
  • 2 people = $27,215
  • 3 people = $34,280
  • 4 people = $41,350
  • 5 people = $48,415
  • 6 people = $55,500
