River Bend Jerseys is a 200 acre organic dairy farm along the Millacoma River of Coos Bay.  Pete and Kelly Mahaffy and their 120 jersey cows are part of the Organic Valley Cooperative, selling milk and dairy products at retail stores throughout the Northwest and nationwide.  The Mahaffy's also raise animals for beef and sell organically raised, grass fed beef by the 1/4 and 1/2.  They welcome groups or individuals to tour their farm and are happy to share their farm story.  Please call before coming as this is a busy working farm and the owners need to plan for visitors.

U-Pick Pumpkins right from our patch in Allegany!  We are growing all sizes of pumpkins, specialty pumpkins, and gourds! We can meet all of your carving or decorating needs! Pick in the patch pumpkins, or look through some already gathered pumpkins. Ryan and Shawna Mahaffy invite you to their 95 acre ranch on the Millicoma River to enjoy a day in the country. Enjoy the harvest season and the beautiful colors of fall! You may even see cattle, sheep and chickens. Also enjoy tractor-pulled hay rides, face painting, snacks and refreshments.
