Calling all Bunco players! The first ever giant Bunco party will be held Friday, October 14 in support of Great Afternoons & Great Beginnings. All Bunco players, individuals or clubs, are invited. The entry fee is $30 per person. Prizes will be awarded for most wins, most losses and most bunks in each playing group. Light refreshments will be provided. A no-host bar is available. ORCCA is working with Oregon Food Bank to organize a FEAST (Food, Education, Agricultural Solutions Together) meeting. FEAST brings together different sectors of our food system and strategize about how we can work together to strengthen our community and personal food security. The FEAST process will engage in an informed and facilitated discussion about food, education and agriculture in their community and begin to work toward solutions together to help build a healthier, more equitable and more resilient local food system. Seeking Wednesday volunteers to unload truck at the Food Share
South Coast Food Share is looking for some strong volunteers to unload the Oregon Food Bank delivery truck on Wednesdays from 9am-noon.
CASA exhibit at Pony Village Mall
During the month of September there will be a CASA exhibit at Pony Village to help raise awareness of the program. We are looking for a few CASA volunteers to man the table for an hour or two on Saturdays to answer any questions that people may have. Call the CASA office if interested, 541-824-0214.
