Help Support CASA:
Mama Mia's Restaurant was the setting for a wonderful luncheon last month to honor and recognize those who volunteer to stand up for children and speak for them in court. CASA volunteers help ensure that children who have experienced the trauma of abuse and neglect are able to grow up in a safe, nurturing home. CASA is supported by the Coos Commission on Children and Families, the National CASA Association, Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation, Coquille Tribal Community Fund, Juan Young Trust, the Templeton Foundation, the Oregon Community Foundation, Trust Management, and the Autzen Foundation, and many local individual donors.
Oregon Coast Community Action and the Court Appointed Special Advocates strive to give neglected, abused, and vulnerable children a voice in court. CASA volunteers work to make sure children find their way to a safe loving permanent homes as quickly as possible. Donations can be made either at www.orcca.us or by sending a check to ORCCA at 2110 Newmark Ave, Coos Bay OR 97420, if sending a check please write CASA on the memo line. If you have questions concerning this call Becky at 541-888-7436.
