Week 1: June 18-22     BUILDING BOARD GAMES!
Each student will get a blank game board and box and all the tools to build their own real game. Using math, writing and reading skills they will make a game they can share with the camp and then take home to keep.

Week 2: June 25-29     WEIRD WACKY SCIENCE!
Get ready for a week filled with strange and exciting science experimenting! Objects will fly, smoke and disappear as we experiment to see what wild, weird and wacky ways science works in our world!

Week 3: July 2-6     RECYCLE IT! ART FROM RECLAIMED OBJECTS!
Learn about the many ways we can recycle. Make paper, create a work of art from throwaway products and learn all the ways kids can make a difference by teaching others and living the recycled way!   (We will close Weds. July 4th)

Week 4: July 23-27   DETECTIVE CAMP 2- MURDER MYSTERY
What happened to Felix the Millionaire?  Come sleuthing and see if you can solve a serious case of, gasp- Murder! Follow clues and test crime scene evidence to see if the crime can be solved! Come with us on this exciting exploration of forensic science!

Week 5:  July 30-August 3    TIE DYE, CERAMICS AND MORE: 60’S ART!
Make your own Tie Dye Shirt, paint a ceramic figure with Coastal Ceramics owners Michael and Bill Karcher, create a garden mural on the Head Start shed and more fun crazy art of the 60’s- this will be a colorful week of fun, fun, fun!

Week 6   August 6-10   SAFARI CAMP
Learn about your favorite safari animal, try out your art skills creating a watercolor painting of the animal you studied and share your knowledge with the other campers. Come with us to Wild Life Safari to view your chosen animal, live and up close!

• Camps are 10-2pm- we eat at the USDA summer lunch program. No bus is provided this year.
• Camps are $80 per week, $40 for reduced lunch qualified students and $20 per week for free lunch students.
• Each camp must be pre paid at the beginning of the week. Please register early so that we can order supplies.
