Hours: 40 per week
Primary Purpose: To provide clerical and data entry support to Essential Services
Descriptions of Duties:
To work closely with intake specialists to provide accurate data entry in all energy, housing and health service websites and databases. Retrieve, transcribe and respond to phone messages for services and information. Transmit payment/pledge information via fax or phone to service vendors and build and maintain functional Access/Excel spreadsheets.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Regular attendance is a requirement of the position.
- Work closely with Essential Services supervisors and staff.
- Maintain a level of training necessary for continued position proficiency.
- Provide data entry services in Energy, HMIS and E2C2 OPUS modules.
- Build and maintain spreadsheets and data storage systems.
- Provide daily payment/pledge information to utility vendors via fax or phone.
- Assist with retrieval of phone messages from sign-up and waitlists.
- Ability to operate Windows based programs, and all available office equipment.
- Work with receptionist to maintain office supplies and inventory.
- Take, transcribe and email staff meeting minutes.
- Work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Able to drive long distances.
- Ability to sit at meetings for as long as four hours at a time.
- Ability to work in excess of eight hours per day and during evenings as required.
- Show scheduling flexibility for one time or special events.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required
- Level II - A minimum of one year paid experience directly related to the position description is required.
Work Environment:
- Geographic Area: Coos, Curry and Western Douglas Counties
- Primary job site: Newmark Center
- May lift items up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Other:
- Licenses: A current Drivers License is required.
- A good driving record is necessary.
- Proof of automobile liability insurance @ 100,000/300,000 liability limits
- Reliable transportation of getting to work.
- Must be fee of illegal drugs, may be subject to suspicion testing.
- Must be able to pass the Criminal Background Check.
