What is Emergency Dental Days?
Emergency Dental Days are set up through a partnership between Oregon Coast Community Action and Advantage Dental. The Dental Days are staffed with volunteer dentists and hygienists. The clinics take place on the first Friday of every month.
What does Emergency Dental Days do?
Dental Day clinics are intended to address urgent dental needs for adults without dental insurance. The major service provided by the dental van is extractions, but may also have others available.
Who is eligible for services from the Dental Days?
The Dental Days program is intended to provide urgent care to adults without dental insurance. Clients for Dental Days must have a household income below 200% of the poverty threshold.
Why isn’t my child eligible for Dental Days?

How do I apply for Dental Days services?
To request an application, please call (541) 435-7080. You will be contacted and an application will be mailed to you.
I’ve filled out an application. When can I expect to have an appointment?
Appointments are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis with priority given to urgent/emergency situations.
I have dental insurance, but can’t afford co-pays. Can the dental van help me?
No, you do not qualify for services from Dental Days if you have dental insurance.
I just want my teeth cleaned. Does Dental Days do that?
Dental Days is intended primarily for urgent dental needs. The Waterfall Clinic can accommodate dental cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments with fees based on a sliding scale.
I don’t qualify for services from Dental Days. Are there other services in the community that can help me?
The Waterfall Clinic is available for cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments. You can contact the Waterfall Clinic at (541) 756-6232. The Umpqua Community Health Center, located in Roseburg, performs dental work with fees based on a sliding scale. You can contact the Umpqua Community Health Center at (541) 672-9596.
