ORCCA’s combined development projects have brought in $20 million dollars of economic activity to the southern Oregon Coast.  Construction projects developed in partnership with community organizations and city or county agencies have already boosted the entire community by spreading the impact of funding throughout the region, with ripples reaching out to affect thousands of families on the South Coast. ORCCA’s additional projects will only further maximize the economic impact of potential construction funding.

Not only will thousands benefit from the services, but the new facilities on LaClair alone will also generate an estimated 175 temporary construction jobs.

According the University of Arkansas economic impact study, for every dollar spent in a community to construct a new facility approximately $1.66 will come back into the community through related spending. ORCCA estimates that the new facilities in Coos Bay alone will generate an additional $16.6 million in community spending. The Community new facilities in Coos Bay will bring much needed economic activity and services to our community.
