David Sky

david David grew up in Coos Bay, Ore. He attended the University of Oregon and graduated with a B.A. in English. He is now serving as an AmeriCorps LINKS member in ORCCA's Development department. His projects include marketing and public relations activities to provide outreach and community engagement through social media, press releases and web-videos.
 

Michelle Madigan

mitch Michelle was born and raised in California and moved to Oregon about 7 years ago. A proud mother, she is passionate about helping people. She is currently working towards a B.A. in Human Services Management, and is serving as an AmeriCorps Vista in ORCCA’s Development Department. Michelle’s projects focus on services for families in need.
 

Morgan Filbert

morgan Morgan Filbert is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He attended Mt. Mercy College where he received a B.A. with a Double Major in English and History. Morgan is serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at ORCCA, through the United Community Action Network. He works at South Coast Food Share to increase food resources available for children and families.
 

Mariah Pepper

Mariah Mariah is from Boston, Mass., where she first discovered her passion for food systems and sustainable agriculture. She graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a B.A. in Anthropology, and is the Local Food Resource VISTA for South Coast Food Share, working in the Development Department. Mariah’s projects are focused on increasing local food resources and food security for families on the South Coast.

MacKenzie Ross

mack MacKenzie grew up in Portland, Ore. and attended the University of Oregon, where she received a B.A. in English. She is now an AmeriCorps member through the Oregon Community Action Corps, serving as the Childhood Literacy Specialist at ORCCA. This involves developing youth programs, such as Toy Tales and Community Action Adventure, that engender a volunteer spirit in local children and teens, while fostering literacy projects in the community.

Zachary Sippel

Zack Zachary grew up in the Twin Cities, Minn., and graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota. He is currently serving as an AmeriCorps LINKS member at ORCCA. Zachary’s projects include assisting ORCCA’s Energy and Weatherization programs to work on projects related to energy efficiency, “green” construction and sustainability.

Lacy Weinblatt

Lacy Lacy is originally from Port Orford, Ore. After graduating from Pacific High School she attended SOCC and earned an Associate of Arts degree. Currently Lacy serves as an AmeriCorps member through the Oregon Community Action Corps. As the Childhood Hunger Relief Specialist, she is expanding and supporting the Share Bear Snack Pack Program. After her term of service, Lacy plans to attend Oregon State University to pursue a B.A. in Education.
