Energy Education:

Empower:
Candidates for the Empower Program are usually households that start out with a pretty high utility bill or have difficulties keeping their electric bills current.  While this program is designed to help you save money on your energy usage, our services go well beyond this. Weatherization:
Our primary goal is to provide increased insulation in the home whether it is a site built home or a mobile home. Areas that are covered are floor, attic and walls in site built and underbelly blows in mobile homes. A well insulated home helps keep the cold out and the warmth in. Eligibility for Services:
Applicants must be at or below 60% of the median income for the State of Oregon.
Allowable annual income for a family of:

1    $21,093        4    $40,563
2    $27,583        5    $47,053   
3    $34,073        6    $53,543

Note: These numbers are for general income screening only, based on income guidelines for the 2007-2008 Federal LIEAP season. Contact us at (541) 888-1574 or stop by our offices located at
2110 Newmark Center, Coos Bay, Room 228, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5 pm, to complete paperwork applying for approval in the EmPower Case Management Program.
