What are handling fees or share costs?

E-mail Print PDF
Although SCFS does not charge its partner agencies for food, the agencies contribute handling fees to help partially offset the cost of the Food Bank’s services. The function of handling fees is to allow the SCFS and the agency to share the cost to obtain food, transport it to one of our warehouses and get food to the people who need it.
