Do clients have to pay for food?

E-mail Print PDF
No, food is provided to clients at no cost. However, partner agencies do pay a handling fee on some food that helps defray costs for transport and handling. Depending on the source of food being handled by SCFS, partner agencies pay between $0 and $0.18 per pound. 30-40% of food is provided at no charge.
