How does SCFS acquire food?

E-mail Print PDF
SCFS receives food primarily from the Oregon Food Bank, which acquires food from more than 400 manufacturers, retailers, distributors, grocers, growers, and processors. SCFS also receives about 10% of its food through individual donations and food drives. Finally, many local grocery stores donate food directly to SCFS, providing an excellent source of fresh produce and dairy products.
